Bill Howard designed the house for his personal residence. The house site overlooks the second hole of Quail Creek golf course and has views of Quail Creek Golf and Country Club which was also designed by Bill Howard. The site is a slopping site with a creek running on the side of the property.
The two story contemporary house has several different levels at the first floor integrating the house into the slopping hill. The interior and exterior of the house is oriented to take advantage of the golf course views. The house is laid out on hexagonal grid allowing for continuous wall flow giving the feeling of an open house. The first floor has the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. The second floor has three bedrooms and an open space that connects to an outdoor concrete rooftop deck patio.
The brick house has exposed interior brick walls throughout the house. The house has many different patios on the site. The house design has received architectural awards and has been published in several architectural books.
